This weekend, my little sister and I applied to our nails Sally Hansen salon effects real nail polish strips.

A ton of brands have them, so there are many different looks to choose from.

 It was easy to do, and I think they turned out great!

I also did the Vanessa Hudgens trend...painting your ring finger a different color:

Why didn't anyone think of these brilliant nail strips before? Creative, easy, and adds a little excitement and variety to the normal nail polish colors of life.

Saying a slow good bye to summer

I have had a great summer. I am going to miss it. I love summer. Here is a photo of a summer memory. Me and Blackey on the deck one hot summer night. 

Things I LOVE about this photo:
-Blackey's face (he is looking at the camera)
-How the picture got cropped. I wasn't trying for the grass on the side, but it was a perfect place to fit text. Couldn't help it.
-My grandmother's silver necklance
-The blurriness of the photo, captures the "in the moment cell phone photo" feel.
