4 things I LIKE about football

  • This video is so neat.

Husker Football Players Share the Gospel - FCA from Three Pillars Media on Vimeo.

  • This GQ article is also so neat. Here is an excerpt from the article:
"When you die," Tebow booms, "there's gonna be a tombstone, and on that tombstone there's gonna be a name, and there's gonna be a date. And for me, it's going to be 1987, and then it's gonna have a dash.… I want that dash to mean something. I want that dash to be special. I want that dash to represent that Tim Tebow finished strong." He pauses, scans the crowd, sucks in a calming breath, and the wild screams and cries nearly drown out his next line: "And most importantly, when I get to heaven, I want Jesus to say, WELL DONE, MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT."Read More http://www.gq.com/sports/profiles/200908/tebow-florida-heisman-nfl-photos-quarterback-injury-concussion#ixzz1fdCvd9N0

Congratulations...

Congratulations to Anya for winning Project Runway.
I have mixed feelings about Anya winning the show. But I liked her throughout the whole season. I honestly think that she can put out really cool collections. She has a great eye for fashion and I understand why the judges picked her. The idea of her winning is growing on me :)
Here are my favorite looks from each designer's final collection!

Can't wait till Project Runway Allstars!
That is going to be amazing.

And the winner is...

I have not missed an episode of Project Runway this year (or the past 3 seasons). Vote on the top right corner of my blog for who you think will win Project Runway this week.

source.
I enjoy watching Project Runway every week, and I have a little idea of who might win. Who do you think will win? I am excited to see what Project Accessory is going to be like...can't wait.

Creative Wednesday

I think this commercial is really creative. Every guy would buy something useless if they had extra money. Take for example David, my awesome hubby, I am sure he would buy a kayak. Really David...a kayak?!? We have no place in South Sioux City or even near us to kayak. Sigh...men. Enjoy this creative (and funny) State Farm commercial!

Simply Judy (not ever going to own a kayak) Bligh

The royal wedding dress

I loved Kate's dress. Elegant, simple, modern, classic, and fit like a royal glove. My favorite part of the dress was the placement of the skirt. It hit her waist/hips perfectly. My next favorite part of the dress was the neck line. It set-off/framed her glowing face. I am not a big fan of lace, but this was done so subtly and elegantly that I love lace now. I don’t really like long trains, but for a royal wedding it is dramatic and a must.
Sigh…beauty at its finest:

Super Bowl Sunday

Here is my super bowl fashion fun for the day. Last year Carrie Underwood sang the national anthem. She looked awesome in this white suit:

Creative Wednesday

I love these Rachael Ray spoons. They hook onto the side of your pot. Brilliant! I don't know if it was her line that thought of this first, but why didn't anyone think of this sooner.

A little culture during The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

I saw this interview with Jay Leno and was so encouraged. I love classical music. It is really a part of who I am. Sometimes I forget how much I love it. When I saw this conductor, Gustavo Dudamel, on Jay...I just had to share. I was so proud that he interviewed classical music conductor. What a delight :)

Feel more cultured now?!? lol. Hope you enjoyed!
