Saying a slow good bye to summer

I have had a great summer. I am going to miss it. I love summer. Here is a photo of a summer memory. Me and Blackey on the deck one hot summer night. 
Things I LOVE about this photo:
-Blackey's face (he is looking at the camera)
-How the picture got cropped. I wasn't trying for the grass on the side, but it was a perfect place to fit text. Couldn't help it.
-My grandmother's silver necklance
-The blurriness of the photo, captures the "in the moment cell phone photo" feel.

    I think it is "simply" too cute for you to spend so much quality time with Blackey. Or, is the expression on Blackey's face more of an accommodating look of "yep... look at me. Here I am hanging out with Judy when I'd rather be with David." :)
